From early childhood Matt's passion for food was always with him. He would host dinner parties for his friends who would take turns choosing the menu. Word quickly spread of Matt's famous dinner parties and chairs were continually added to the table.  His enthusiasm for cooking and hospitality was infectious and has fueled his career in the culinary industry. Matt received a Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management degree from the New York Restaurant School in New York City.  After more than 10 years of cooking and baking for some of the most notable restaurants throughout Manhattan, he started Vintage Cakery in Brooklyn to show people that classic recipes will never go out of style.
